These boots are a bit of a mystery to me. I found them in a local consignment shop neglected in a corner, and fell in love. Alas, they are a tad too small for me to where, so they are here on the site. They are marked 8, but I believe this to be the European 8 meaning a US 7. Beautiful dark brown suede with faux buttons on the outside and a zip closure on the inside. They have a 3" heel which has seen better days (see pictures). These have the feel of the 1940s to them, but I can not date them. They have been worn, and may need to be re-soled. The bottom of the sole reads "Obermaterial Leder Vero Cuoio 8". Inside the shoe is a graphic of horses with the words "i Trotta Da Napoli". Although these may be a US size 7, they are also very narrow. The measurements are as follows: toe to heel 8", widest part of shoe is 3", the height of the boot is about 4" (so just over the ankle) and the bottom of the heel is 1/2". Please review the pics, they may need some TLC, but are worth it.
